幼少期よりたまたま父のレコード棚にあったジャーマンエレクトロやプログレ、サイケ、アシッドフォーク等の洗礼を受け、自身ではピアノを弾くなど様々な音楽に囲まれた思春期を過ごす。20代にして初めて手にしたエレキギター、フライングVを携え、二人組のガールズバンド、Stoned Green Applesを結成。’08年、国内屈指のインディーズレーベルとして知られるCrue-L Recordsよりデビュー。2枚のミニアルバムをリリース。さらに2ndミニアルバムから当時ゆらゆら帝国の坂本慎太郎、そして同レーベル主宰、世界的DJでもある瀧見憲司、両者による2曲のリミックスをアナログ12 インチ「Sugar-K Remixes」として’09年シングルカット。同年、自身の出産を機にバンドの無期限活動停止を発表。’1５年、murmur magazine誌面での共演を経て文筆家/詩人/編集者：服部みれい(bass)、イラストレーター平松モモコと共に3ピースの音楽ユニットmmaを結成後、アナログ７インチにてリリース。同年ソロとしても活動スタート、１枚の１２インチアルバム、２本のカセットテープ、サブスクリプションなどで楽曲をリリースしている。
OSHIDAÀYA grew up playing the piano and listening to her father’s record collection of German rock, Progressive Rock, Psychedelic, and Acid Folk. In her 20s she started playing the guitar and formed a girl band Stoned Green Apples with her friend Cass(drums). In 2008, they released two albums from Cruel-L records, one of the biggest indie labels in Japan. Two singles were remixed by Sakamoto Shintaro from the rock band Yura-Yura Teikoku, and DJ Kenji Takimi, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the Japanese underground scene. In 2009, Taking the opportunity of childbirth, She quit the band. But her love of music persisted, and started a new band called mma. The band released their first single in 2015. In the same year, She started her solo career and released songs on one 12-inch album, two cassette tapes, and subscriptions.
